What an honor for me to perform the cello solo from Tan Dun's "Crouching Tiger Concerto for Cello and Orchestra" with the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra in its 35th season.  Don't miss this line-up of fabulous local musicians, including Gao Hong (Pi-Pa) and Gail Nelson (Violin) premiering Gao Hong's Green Willow Tree Double Concerto.  Founded in 1979, conducted by Dr. Paul Niemisto, sponsored by the Northfield Arts Guild and graced by dozens of volunteer local musicians, the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra is a treasured fixture of the Southeast Minnesota music scene.  Come out to see your friends, neighbors, and colleagues at their musical best!
