Congratulations to the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra as it completes its 35th season!  This all-volunteer regional orchestra is a pillar of the arts, allowing musicians the unique opportunity to play with 60 or 70 fellow musicians while also bringing great classical music (and sometimes more...) to small towns all along the mighty Cannon.  This gala concert will feature local composers and local compositions including Dan Kallman's Fidelitas, - a tribute to Northfield's hero, Joseph Lee Heywood - and Chris Forbes' Basson Concerto, commissioned by the CVRO and featuring Northfield bassoonist, Thea Groth.
